Welcome to our website. Our goal is to make it easier for you to find family friendly things to do in the Kalamazoo and Battle area every day of the year!

While living in Kansas City we were amazed not only by the amount of choices of things to do with the kids, but how easily we could find that information. We decided we wanted to bring that type of information to the Kalamazoo & Battle Creek area. We wanted it to be bright, cheerful and full of things to do and that is how the idea for the website began.

Next came the idea for a monthly parenting magazine called Kalamazoo Parent. We are excited  to have  launched the magazine in March 2011.  The magazine is free and includes parenting tips and information, local activities and entertainment, and a monthly events calendar. Look for it at your library and local coffee shops!

We have years of parenting experience with our 6 children, plus we have 2 grandchildren. Our youngest is 1 year old and our  oldest is 24! We have lived and worked in the Lansing area, Battle Creek & Kalamazoo and have traveled all over Michigan. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you.

Today we just have our two younger children at home. We always looking for fun things to include on the website and in the magazine. We want to be your number one resource for parenting information, activities and entertainment in and around the Kalamazoo & Battle Creek area.
